Achievements

Even before its formal start EPSI has already employed activities. This is why EPSI already has created momentum in the sports innovation environment. Results so far are:

• Development and successful submitting of the  Prosumer.net project together with other platforms as Footwear Platform and Euratex (the platform for the European Textiles Industry). Several EPSI members are involved in the project execution. The project is described on the project websites .
• As a result of the first European Conference on Sportsinnovation in 2008 the PRO-FIT project  was created. In this project the concept of the field lab on sport and movement stimulation is being developed and spread around several cities in North-Eastern Europe Development. It aims also at the development of innovative concept for sport and movement stimulation in the triangle sports-industry-knowledge organisation. Leader of the project is the foundation Sports & Technology.
• Several workshops together with (Sport) Industry and Research Organisations throughout Europe on items that are challenging for the Sports Market such as Elderly, Obesity, intelligent product creation, ..
