As confirmed by European Commissioner Mariya Gabriel, the annual appointment organised by the European Commission and EACEA (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency) will take place online next 23-24 March. More information about the registration process will be published soon.
The sport event was postponed
Originally, the event was scheduled for next 8th February, but – as said by the Ms Gabriel via Twitter – it has been postponed due to delays with the publication of the new Erasmus+ Sport Call. Moreover, she “looks forward to seeing you all and introducing you the novelties of 2021 together with colleagues from EU Commission – Sport Unit and EACEA”.
What is the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day?
Every year, the European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) organise a special informative event on Erasmus+ Sport Programme. Normally, the appointment takes place in Brussels, but this year it happen online, due to COVID-19 security measures.The aim of Erasmus+ Sport Info Day is to inform potential applicants about the political context, future programme, simplification and funding opportunities in 2021. Speakers will discuss policy and will give advice and tips on preparing and submitting proposals, and on the financial aspects of funding.
