The Association of Sporting Goods Producers and Sports Equipment Suppliers in Austria (VSSÖ), founded in 1949 and is a non-profit organization with the aim of promoting the reputation of the sports industry and representing the interests of its members both nationally and internationally.
Mission
The competence areas of the VSSÖ include the preservation of common interests in front of official national and international committees, the establishment or promotion of contact with similar organizations at home and abroad, the holding of specialized exhibitions, the establishment of a news service for members, the conceptual development of educational opportunities For members and also the formation of working groups that promote sport. In the winter sports area, the VSSÖ is, among other things, the initiator and organizer of the annual ÖSFA – Austrian Sporting Goods Trade Fair.
